| Order to Chaos |

Open spaces surrounded by urban spaces, such as inner city parks, have an equilibrium entirely different from urban space, surrounded by open space, such as towns and cities. The process of ‘civilising’ the natural environment is one that needs constant human input to control the natural elements whereas preserving open space in a city has exactly the opposite dynamic, of needing to nourish and encourage growth. Pinsky will investigate this physical dynamic situation by playing with the notions of order and disorder by developing a series of temporary structures in Gunpowder Park, observing their construction and their removal.
