Lost O
The modern world is saturated with signs and symbols, yet when a company folds or rebrands, what becomes of its logo? When street signs are replaced or removed, where do the remnants of our visual landscape go?
Lost O stands as a memorial to Ashford’s vanished ring road, created from signs salvaged during its regeneration. Two concentric circles of displaced signage, now form a sculptural echo of the road that once guided the town’s flow. The project didn’t construct this work through addition, but through absence—giving new life to what was once removed, as a poignant reminder of change and transition.
