Akay

Toy House

Akay, Made and Demenz spent three weeks covering the historic South Kent College building with white paper donated by Aylesford Paper Mill, highlighting the building’s architectural contours. A major landmark, observed and loved by local residents and visitors as they make their way to and from the train station, this disused Victorian brick building was transformed into a one-to-one scale model of itself. After this process, visitors were encouraged to use the building as a huge three-dimensional community bulletin board.
