Olivier Lerio

Le Lièvre du Parc

Through extensive historical research, Olivier discovered the origin of the unique symbolism which is represented on railings throughout the centre of Ashford. The gold and black motifs carefully painted on the top of the railings commemorate the now little known Ashford Rabbit.

La Brigade de Chambord

In a quasi-military operation, a team of riders circulated in Ashford mounted on part bicycle, part animal mobile sculptures steering with antlers rather than handlebars. A merging of the hunter and the hunted, this band of guards maintained order throughout Ashford.
